The conveyor is designed for cartons, parcels and boxed items up to 800 mm wide, making it versatile for many supply chain and production processes.

This conveyor features a length of 7900 mm and a width of 800 mm. The hydraulic lifting frame allows the upper end to be positioned between 1000 mm and 2400 mm, matching the height of a lorry floor.

The powered roller conveyor can be extended to 10 metres in 5 sections. It is 800 mm wide, with a height adjustable between 550 and 820 mm, and operates with stainless steel multi-wedge belts on 50 mm rollers.

Goods are conveyed at speeds up to 30 metres per minute, adjustable via a frequency converter. The frame is made from Q345 steel, powder coated, and fitted with heavy-duty braked castors; total machine weight is 1.08 tonnes.

Selecting and preparing for the LOADER UL1790

Frequent errors include setting the wrong height between the conveyor and the lorry floor, not securing the castors before use, and overlooking routine checks of belt tension and roller condition.

How to operate the LOADER UL1790

1. Position the machine behind the lorry and engage the castor brakes.
2. Connect the earth and mains supply, then release the emergency stop.
3. Lift the belt conveyor using the hydraulic frame until it matches the lorry floor height.
4. Extend the roller conveyor into the load area as far as required.
5. Select the direction for loading or unloading, adjust the speed, and place cartons onto the conveyor.

Operation and maintenance

• Before reversing. Ensure there are no obstructions at the conveyor end and nothing close to the rollers.
• Earth first. Always connect the protective earth before starting.
• Monthly inspection. Check belt tension, rollers, fasteners and cables.
• Cleaning. Remove dust and debris with a soft brush or cloth, then confirm rollers and belts move freely.
• Annual maintenance. To be carried out by a qualified engineer, with replacement of worn components.
• Operating environment. For indoor use, 0–40 °C, up to 85% humidity, not suitable for explosive or corrosive areas.
