The ZONE600F is an impulse pedal sealer with a 600 mm bar. It seals the widest bags in this range in a single operation: sacks, pallet liners, protective sheeting and any other packaging that would require two passes with a 300 or 450 mm bar.

The heating wire is only energised while the jaws are closed, then cools under pressure, so the bar remains cool between seals and the joint is set before the bag is removed. The seal is 2 to 5 mm wide and the heating duration can be adjusted.

The jaws are operated by a foot pedal, which is ideal for bags of this width: both hands are free to hold the material flat across the full 600 mm during sealing.

The unit stands on its own column, measuring 700 × 570 × 880 mm, weighs approximately 22 kg and is powered from a standard mains socket at 1000 W.

The ZONE600F is suited to factories, warehouses and logistics hubs where wide bags and liners are manually filled and sealed. It is suitable for packing areas and workbenches handling bulk products, components, hardware, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. How to create a seal

1. Switch on the machine and adjust the heating time to suit the film you are sealing.
2. Lay the filled bag so the open end is flat across the full 600 mm sealing bar.
3. Press the foot pedal: the jaws close and the wire heats for the time you have set.
4. After the indicator light goes out, wait one or two seconds to let the seal cool while still clamped.
5. Remove the bag by pulling sideways, left and right, rather than towards yourself.

Settings and maintenance

• Heating time. Begin with a short time and increase gradually until the seal is secure; too long will burn through the film.
• Bag position. The open end must lie flat along the entire bar. With a 600 mm bag, a central fold is the usual reason for a seal that later fails.
• After sealing. Wait one or two seconds, then pull the bag away sideways, never forwards.
• Never seal empty. Closing the jaws with nothing inside will damage the PTFE cloth.
• Cleaning. Keep the bar and cloth free from melted film and never use wet cleaning methods.
• Wear parts. The PTFE cloth, heating wire and upper pressure pad; a damaged pad will cause an uneven seal.

• Film. Impulse sealing is suitable for PE, PP and multi-layer films. For aluminium-laminated or thick bags, use the constant heat ZONE300D.
