The ECOBAND-S is a compact banding machine designed for use on a packing table. Simply place your stack or pack inside the frame and the machine automatically applies, tightens, seals and cuts the band. This is the smallest banding machine in our range, weighing 18 kg and occupying a similar footprint to a desktop printer.

The frame opening measures 220 × 170 mm and the minimum product width is 30 mm, making it ideal for leaflets, folded print, food packs, small boxes and bundles of components, but not suitable for pallets or large cartons.

The machine operates with a 12 mm wide paper or OPP band, 0.12 mm thick, supplied on rolls with a 40 mm core and a maximum outer diameter of 160 mm. Paper bands are natural, printable and can be recycled with paper waste, while OPP film bands keep the contents visible.

The ECOBAND-S can apply 26 bands per minute and the band tension is adjustable up to 5 kg, allowing you to secure delicate stacks without damaging them. All settings are managed via the touch screen. The machine plugs into a standard socket: 110 V or 220 V, 50–60 Hz, 0.25 kW.

How to use the ECOBAND-S banding machine

1. Place a 12 mm wide paper or OPP band coil on the holder and feed the band into the banding machine.
2. Switch on the banding machine and use the touch screen to set band tension and other parameters.
3. Position the stack or pack in the frame, ensuring it is against the guide.
4. Start the cycle: the banding machine applies the band, tensions, heat-seals and cuts it.
5. Remove the banded pack and insert the next item.

Settings and maintenance

• Band tension. Set via the touch screen, up to 5 kg: use a lower setting for lighter or softer packs, higher for firm stacks.
• Band. Accepts paper or OPP film, 12 mm wide and 0.12 mm thick; coil core 40 mm, maximum outer diameter 160 mm.
• Weld. The band is heat-sealed. If the band separates, first check the band quality and weld temperature.
• Maintenance. Always switch off the banding machine before maintenance. Keep the band path and frame clear of paper dust and film debris.
