The F150PM is a continuous band sealer with inkjet printer. The belts guide the bag opening through the heated and cooling blocks, and the printer applies the date, batch or lot code directly onto the bag as it exits.

This means sealing and coding are completed in one step. Bags are sealed and marked in a single operation, so there is no risk of missing or incorrect codes, and there is no need to manually stamp filled bags.

The belt speed is adjustable from 0 to 13 metres per minute, and the sealing temperature can be set anywhere between 0 and 300 °C. The conveyor supports bags weighing up to 3 kilograms and film thickness up to 0.08 mm in a single layer.

The machine size is 1000 × 400 × 450 mm, the weight is approximately 33 kilograms, and it operates from a standard 220 V mains socket, with a 50 W drive motor and 2 × 300 W heating elements.

Why the printer should be integrated with the sealer

• Seal and print in a single operation. The code is applied to the bag as it is sealed, ensuring every bag is marked with a date.
• The code your customer requires. Date, batch, lot or best-before information is printed directly onto the bag, not on a label that could detach.
• No pauses between bags. The belts operate continuously, so output depends on the operator’s speed.
• Adjustable sealing. Temperature can be set from 0 to 300 °C and speed from 0 to 13 metres per minute, suitable for both lightweight PE and thicker films.

How to seal and print a bag

1. Switch on the band sealer, set the sealing temperature and allow the heating block to reach temperature.
2. Choose what the printer will mark: date, batch number or lot code.
3. Adjust the belt speed, then set the print position, which depends on the speed selected.
4. Insert the filled bag with its open end between the two belts.
5. The bag is sealed, cooled, embossed and printed in a single pass through the band sealer.

Settings and maintenance

• Temperature. Increase gradually from low to high until the seal is secure. Raising it too quickly can burn the film and the belt.
• Speed. Adjustable from 0 to 13 metres per minute. Set the temperature first, then adjust the speed and print position.
• Print position. Where the code appears along the bag. This changes with belt speed, so check after each speed adjustment.
• Seal position. 10 to 20 mm from the bag edge.
• Daily. Brush any film residue from the sealing belt and wipe down the conveyor table.
• Wear parts. The sealing belt, guide belt and printer ink are consumables. Replace a damaged belt promptly to avoid marking the seal.
