FS150 continuous band sealer

The FS150 is a continuous band sealer: bags are fed through without stopping. Twin belts grip the top of the bag, guide it through a heated section, press the film together and cool the seal, all while the operator prepares the next bag.

The belts operate at 0 to 13 metres per minute, with adjustable speed, so the machine matches the operator’s pace. The sealing temperature can be set anywhere from 0 to 300 °C to suit the film in use.

This is the vertical type: bags remain upright during sealing, which prevents powders, granules and loose contents from entering the seal area. The conveyor supports up to 3 kilograms per bag.

Handles film up to 0.08 mm thick in a single layer, measures 820 × 350 × 590 mm for table-top use, weighs 23 kg and plugs into a standard 220 V mains socket.

The FS150 vertical band sealer is widely used in food production, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, household products and agriculture. Typical applications include sealing bags containing powders, granules, seeds, dried foods and small hardware items.

This model integrates into batch packing lines and is commonly positioned after a filling station. Operators fill and close the bag, then present it to the sealer. The machine is ideal for small and medium upright bags, especially where spillage or contamination must be avoided.

How to use the FS150 vertical bag sealer

For optimal sealing, test the seal on any new bag type at a slower speed before increasing output. The seal should look even and withstand a simple peel or burst check. Regularly inspect the sealing and guide belts, and clean the conveyor to ensure reliable performance.

Bag sealing process

1. Switch on the sealer, select the correct temperature for your film, and allow the heating block to reach temperature.
2. Adjust the belt speed so that the bag exits sealed and cool.
3. Hold the filled bag upright and insert the open end between the two belts.
4. The belts move the bag through the heated block, then the pressure wheel and cooling block.
5. Remove the bag at the end; feed the next one in straight after without stopping the belts.

Settings and maintenance

• Temperature. Increase gradually from low until the seal is secure. Setting the temperature too high at once can damage both film and belt.
• Speed. 0 to 13 metres per minute. A slower speed applies more heat to the seal; a faster speed applies less. Set the temperature first, then adjust the speed.
• Seal position. 10 to 20 mm from the bag edge. Too close and the seal may curl; too far and the bag holds less.
• Film. Up to 0.08 mm thick in a single layer, PE, PP or multi-layer.
• Daily. Brush off any film residue from the sealing belt and wipe down the conveyor surface.
• Wear parts. The sealing belt and toothed guide belt. Inspect monthly and replace any belt immediately if torn, to avoid damaging the seal.

• Bag weight. Handles up to 3 kg per bag on the conveyor. For heavier bags, consider the AS600F, which supports 20 kg on the table and 5 kg per bag.
• Bag height. The vertical model is ideal for bags that need to remain upright. The AS600F accepts bags from 120 to 600 mm tall.
• Film. Up to 0.08 mm single layer. For thicker films, the larger AS600F is recommended.
• Printing. This model seals only. For date or batch coding, choose the F150PM with inkjet printer.
• Power supply. 220 V / 50–60 Hz from a standard socket; a 110 V version is also available.
• Space required. 820 × 350 × 590 mm on a worktop, 23 kg, plus clearance for the bag to exit.
