Site Requirements

When selecting a location for the Vertical baler TONNA25, please consider the following points:

Loading waste material into the machine

Once the cardboard compactors are in place, the machine is ready to be loaded. Begin by closing the lower door and then start filling the machine. When preparing a new bale, place a large sheet of cardboard (or another suitable material) at the bottom of the hopper. This will ensure that all ties or tapes used for securing the bale, as well as any solid waste, are collected. Only waste material should be placed in the machine. Once the waste baler is full, a new compaction cycle can commence.

Compacting

The hydraulic hoses provide the clamping force required to compress the waste material. The material is compacted to minimise its volume. The baling process is as follows:

1. Fill the bale chamber to the top of the machine.
2. To begin compaction, select the required compression setting on the control panel, then press the green button and activate the “compress” function. The machine will carry out the compaction cycle and will automatically stop once finished. (The pressing plate may remain in position until the next load is added.)
3. To return the pressing plate to the upper position, press the green button and move it to the “pinch” setting. During the clamping cycle, the machine will stop automatically and the plate will return to its starting position.
4. The machine will halt immediately if the red button is pressed.
5. Repeat this process until the required number of bales has been produced and compacted.
