This strapping kit includes the NEO2 battery strapping tool, battery, charger, a roll of polypropylene strap and a wheeled cart. Ready for immediate use, with no extra purchases or installation required.

The tool is compatible with PET and PP strapping from 9 to 16 mm and delivers up to 3200 N of tension. Each cycle automatically tensions, seals and cuts the strap, ensuring consistent joints regardless of operator.

Powered by an 18 V, 5000 mAh lithium battery and fitted with a brushless motor, the tool weighs 3.9 kg. The seal is formed by friction welding, fusing the two layers of strap together by heat generated through friction.

The cart transports both the coil and the tool directly to the pallet, allowing you to strap loads in place rather than moving them to a fixed strapping area.

How to strap a pallet

1. Place the coil onto the cart and feed the strap through the guide.
2. Wrap the strap around your goods and return the end to the strapping tool.
3. Insert both layers into the tool and press the button.
4. The tool applies the set tension, friction-welds the two layers together, and trims the excess strap.
5. Move the cart to the next pallet, taking the coil and tool with you.

Settings and maintenance

• Tension. Adjust to suit the load, not to the maximum. A cardboard box needs far less than a pallet of tiles, and over-tightening can damage the corners.
• Weld time. Too short and the joint will fail, too long and the strap may overheat. Start with a medium setting and test the weld by hand.
• Strap quality. The weld relies on the strap itself. Dusty, damp or recycled strapping of unknown grade will not produce a reliable seal.
• Corners. Use edge protectors on delicate items, as the strap can cut into the top edge before securing the load.
• Battery. Recharge before it is fully discharged and keep the spare battery on the cart. A low battery results in a weak weld.
• Cleaning. Remove dust and strap debris from the welding plate and gripper, as most poor welds are caused by build-up in these areas.

• Load weight. Provides up to 3200 N of tension. For heavier, hot or sharp-edged loads, use steel strapping and a steel strapping tool.
• Number of pallets. A battery-powered tool is ideal for mobile use. For continuous operations, a semi-automatic or automatic strapping machine is more efficient.
