How do I operate the SMITH 3-Wheel Electric Forklift?

1. Insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the right, and the emergency power safety switch will reset. Then gently activate the control circuit.
2. The forks lift approximately 10 cm from the ground.
3. Release the parking brake system.
4. Select the desired direction by pressing the forward or reverse switch as needed.
5. Gradually press the accelerator pedal until the required speed is reached.
6. If you encounter any issues during use and need to stop the electric forklift immediately, press the red emergency power switch.
7. Reduce speed when turning the forklift wherever possible.
8. The forklift can manage gradients up to 10%. Operators should assess the incline and fully depress the accelerator pedal to achieve maximum climbing power.
9. When descending a slope, release the accelerator pedal to engage reverse braking current. If this does not sufficiently control the speed, also apply the brake pedal to maintain safety.
10. When stopping, release the accelerator pedal until the forklift comes to a complete halt. Lower the forks to their lowest position, keep your hands inside the cab, press the safety switch, and remove the key.
